WorkSafe New Zealand - Asbestos Guidance

With input from industry, we are currently working on redeveloping and updating our asbestos-related guidance.

The redeveloped guidance will be published in three stages. Stage one was published in August 2024 and includes the below guides:

• Asbestos in New Zealand – information for businesses, workers, and others
• Asbestos in the home – information for homeowners
• Protective clothing and equipment for working with asbestos – guidance for PCBUs
• Managing asbestos in your building or workplace – good practice guidance for PCBUs
